Muse to play Origin of Symmetry at Reading and Leeds

British rockers Muse will headline this year's Reading and Leeds

Muse have announced they'll play their 2001 album Origin of Symmetry in full at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals.

Lead singer Matt Bellamy tweeted to say that the band would play the record "as well as other songs" to mark its 10th anniversary.

In March he told NME that it could be the last live airing for some tracks.

Origin of Symmetry reached number three in the UK album chart when it was released.

Singles from the record, Muse's second album, included Plug In Baby, New Born and Bliss.

The Devon rockers headline the main stage at Reading on Sunday 28 August and at Leeds on Friday 26 August.

Other acts confirmed for the festival include The Strokes, My Chemical Romance and veteran indie rock band Pulp.

The event takes place at Reading's Little John's Farm and Bramham Park in Leeds from 26-28 August.
