Justin Bieber complains about paparazzi on Israel trip

Justin Bieber tweeted his anger at photographers following him while in Israel

Justin Bieber has said he's been "frustrated" during a trip to Israel because of the attention of local media (12 April).

The teen singer complained about being hounded by paparazzi on Twitter.

He said: "I want to see this country and all the places I've dreamed of, and whether it's the paps or being pulled into politics, it's been frustrating."

Bieber's in Tel Aviv to play a show at Hayarkon Park on Thursday night (14 April) as part of his My World tour.

Media 'respect'

During his visit the singer pleaded with photographers to leave him and his family alone to enjoy some private time together.

While visiting historical sites, the 17-year-old tweeted his anger saying he just wanted "the chance to walk where Jesus did".

"You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places," he continued.

"They should be ashamed of themselves. Take pictures of me eating but not in a place of prayer, ridiculous.

"Staying in the hotel for the rest of the week, you happy?"

But after being challenged by a fan who claimed the Never Say Never singer should be used to being followed around by photographers, Justin replied: "It's not the fans, and some of the paps were nice enough to leave.

"But some people just don't have respect."
