Adele's album 21 passed the two million sales mark

Adele is set to return to the top of the official UK album chart, according to the official midweek chart update.

Following 11 weeks at the top, the London singer was knocked off last week by Foo Fighters' album Wasting Light.

This week (18 April) her album 21 passed the two million sales mark, 87 days after it was released.

Only singing duo Robson & Jerome have reached the milestone quicker.

This week new entries in the official midweek album chart include Gorillaz's The Fall and Jamie Woon's debut album Mirrorwriting.

In the singles chart, LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem looks set to spend it's second week at number one.

It's closest contender is Wretch 32 featuring Example's Stone Roses sampling track Unorthodox.

Tracy Chapman's 1983 track Fast Car has appeared at number four after the track was performed on the first episode of the new series of Britain's Got Talent.
