A brand new Take That song is to be featured on the soundtrack to the latest X-Men film.

Love Love is released for download on 11 May with 30 seconds of the track available to listen to on the group's website.

It will appear in X-Men First Class, which tells the story of the mutants before they revealed themselves to the world.

The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn and is released in cinemas on 1 June.

Vaughn is the British director behind films like Kick-Ass, Harry Brown, Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Take That begin their record-breaking Progress Live 2011 tour on 27 May in Sunderland.

It's the biggest ever UK tour and the first time the original five members of Take That have gone out on the road together since 1995.

The run finishes with eight sold out nights at London's Wembley Stadium.

More than 1.3 million tickets have been sold for the shows.

Pet Shop Boys are the main support act.
