Ricky Gervais' new TV show Talking Funny 'is about art'

Ricky Gervais is back with a new show, Talking Funny, which stars comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock.
It's a one-off TV special where they reveal the secrets of their success.
"It's not a comedy show, it's a show about comedy," said Ricky Gervais. "It's just four people sitting down talking about their art.
"The idea came about when I'd just played Madison Square Garden in New York. There was a knock on the door and those three came into the room."
He continued: "They sat down and said they loved this bit and that bit and, 'Where did you get the idea for that from?'
"We suddenly realised it was like we were just so excited about being in each others company talking about comedy, so we put it on screen."
The programme has already aired in the States on HBO and Ricky says he has other groups of comedy legends waiting in the wings to do the next one.
Being poor
Ricky Gervais has also revealed he got in touch with his friend Will Smith, who's been upsetting some native New Yorkers while filming Men in Black 3.
Nearby residents complained that his film trailer was too big and was causing traffic problems.
"After I hosted the Golden Globes, Will called me and said, 'You the man.'
"He sent me this hamper from Harrods with loads of cheese and a box of Daz. He'd read an article about when I was poor.
"Once I was so poor, I had a bath with my shirts in soap power water, which is true.
"So when I saw his film trailer in the paper this week, I sent him a text saying, 'The Golden Globes want to hold the ceremony in your trailer next year.'"
Will Smith's trailer has now been moved to a nearby parking lot.
Men in Black 3 is due out next year.
Talking Funny is on Thursday 2 June at 10.15pm Sky Atlantic HD.
