Tulisa Contostavlos' manager says she hasn't heard anything about The X Factor

N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos' manager says she "hasn't signed anything yet" after rumours she had been asked to be a new X Factor judge.

Dannii Minogue announced at the weekend that she would not be taking part in this year's UK X Factor.

The 39-year-old said it was because of a clash in commitments with her role on Australia's Got Talent.

Tulisa's manager, Jonathan Shalit, has told Newsbeat she is in the running but they haven't heard anything yet.

He said: "The News of the World, who started the story, totally jumped the gun and never spoke to me.

"We hope it is true, but in truth no contract has been signed or even received yet, and I keep on reading different people are doing it, so we wait and hope."

Jonathan Shalit also said the 22-year-old was not in the country.

As yet, there is no confirmation of any of the other judges.
