Lady Gaga's meat dress to go on display

Lady Gaga's controversial meat dress is set to go on public display.
The outfit, worn by the singer for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, was placed in a vat of chemicals before being dried out by taxidermists.
Originally made from layers of Argentinian beef, the dress was stored in a meat locker before being treated.
It will go on show at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of an exhibition which runs until February 2012.
A spokeswoman for the Hall of Fame said the dress started to look like "dark, beef-jerky" while dehydrating, so it was painted to look "fresh" afterwards.
The process took several months.
Following the outcry caused by the dress back in September, Lady Gaga defended the outfit saying it was not disrespectful towards "vegans and vegetarians".
The singer told US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres that it was a protest against the way the army in America treats gay soldiers.
The dress was designed by Franc Fernandez and Nichola Formichetti.
