Sacked My Chemical Romance drummer made a 'mistake'

The drummer fired by My Chemical Romance over claims he "stole" from them, says he made a "tremendous mistake".
Michael Pedicone said the incident which saw him dismissed stemmed from relationship problems he was having with a member of the band's crew.
"Rather than address the issues that I had in an open and honest manner, I tried to make them look irresponsible.
"My intention was to make this person look incompetent."

He added that the problems with the crew member, who he did not name, were "many, big and small".
"Some of them were large enough that they began to greatly impact me and, by extension, my family," he said.
"I'd reached my wits' end, and I made what was certainly the poorest decision of my life.
"I had no intention of profiting whatsoever. Again, I cannot overstate how poor my judgment was in this situation; it was a tremendous mistake, and it's one I'll regret for years to come."
Pedicone claimed he was fired without the chance to properly explain his side of the story to the rest of the band and a chance to "express my remorse".
At the end of last week My Chemical Romance announced Pedicone's immediate dismissal on their website saying: "He was caught red-handed stealing from the band and confessed to police after our show last night in Auburn, Washington."
He joined the group after the departure of previous sticksman Bob Bryar at the end of 2010.
Replacement drummer Jarrod Alexander has joined the band for the rest of their current US tour with blink-182.
