Jay-Z to launch game based on rapper's own life

A Facebook game about Jay-Z's life from the streets of Brooklyn to a famous rapper is set to launch.
Empire gives you points allowing you to move up life's ladder by doing things like rapping in a battle, making a mixtape, or getting a job to pay for new bling.
Once you've earned enough points, you can move out of the housing projects and into playground of the rich and famous.
The game is still in the development stages but the beta version of it was launched this week.
That is where the public can try out the game and give creators feedback before the general launch.
There is no date yet for the official release.
It's estimated Jay-Z is worth $460 (£284) million thanks to his recent Watch The Throne tour - which will come to the UK at the O2 Arena in London on 20 March.
