Example has had to cancel more tour dates because of problems with his leg.
The rapper and singer has severe tendonitis of his Achilles and had been under doctor's orders not to perform.
"With huge regret I've had to cancel/reschedule all my Oct shows," he wrote on Twitter. "My achilles tendinitis has got worse and I need time to recover.
"Hoping to be back to full fitness asap and in time to play my November and December shows."
One of the dates affected is his performance at The Forum, the University of Hertfordshire's student union on 16 October.
The others are all abroad.
Example announced a UK tour for 2013 last month and performed at festivals this summer including T in the Park and Radio 1's Hackney Weekend.
Last month he revealed that he had to apply an ice pack to his Achilles in his left leg six times a day for 20 minutes at a time.
He said he could hardly walk and tweeted a picture of a cast he had been told to wear.
He is due to release his fourth studio album, called The Evolution of Man, in November.
