The Only Way is Essex star Mick Norcross has left the reality show and banned its cameras from his nightclub.
The Sugar Hut in Brentwood was a regular venue for the cast of Towie and the businessman's son, Kirk, is still a regular on the ITV2 show.
"My club is an upmarket venue where people come to drink champagne and feel spoiled.
"All these rows they keep filming don't show the club in a good light," Mick Norcross told the Sun newspaper, external.
"I'm worried it's putting people off coming, which is the last thing I want."
Writing on Twitter, the 49-year-old also told fans: "Don't let the shadows of your past darken the doorstep of your future. Forgive and forget."
The show, which won an audience award at the Television Baftas in 2011, has lost several of its biggest stars in recent years, including Mark Wright, Amy Childs and Lauren Goodger.
There is also speculation about the future of Mario Falcone and girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh on the show.
An ITV spokesman confirmed: "There are no current plans to film with Mick or in the Sugar Hut."
