Rihanna headlines second day of T In The Park

Rihanna headlines the second day of T In The Park on Saturday.

Her performance will follow live sets from The Script, Paloma Faith and Snoop Dogg.

Organisers say a crew of 90 people have joined the singer in Kinross.

Seven articulated lorries were used to transport her set-up to the site.

Day of sunshine

Soaring temperatures have contributed to the number of first aid incidents almost doubling, compared to last year.

Organisers report that most people visiting the hospital tent have needed treatment for things like sunburn and dehydration.

There is also concern about music fans taking fake ecstasy onsite this weekend.

A batch of the pills has been linked to the deaths of seven people in the west of Scotland this week.

Mumford and Sons brought the first day of T In The Park to a close on Friday.

Following on from their appearance at Glastonbury, the band ploughed through hits including I Will Wait and The Cave.

Scottish acts such as Calvin Harris, Emeli Sande and Texas also performed to packed audiences on a day where the sun rarely disappeared.

Love of the Light

Mumford & Sons' set featured most of their songs from their two studio albums.

They opened with Lovers' Eyes, followed by Little Lion Man. Lead singer Marcus Mumford came on drums for their single Lover of the Light.

The band said it was the first time they'd performed at T In The Park on a sunny day.

Other artists to perform on Friday included Jake Bugg, Chase & Status, Kendrick Lemar, Kraftwerk and Everything Everything.

Las Vegas quartet Imagine Dragons opened the stage inside the King Tut tent, playing hits such as Radioactive and It's Time.

Home soil

Also on Friday, Emeli Sande played a setlist full of hits on the Main Stage including Read All About It, Beneath Your Beautiful and ending with Next To Me.

One of the most enthusiastic sing-alongs went to Iceland's Of Monsters And Men as they played their international hit Little Talks.

The video for the song has been viewed more than 67-million times on YouTube.

Friday is also traditionally known as the day for people to wear fancy dress

This year, costumes included dozens of superheroes, movie characters and one man who dyed his beard bright green.
