Bombay Bicycle Club 'got out of routine' for new album

Bombay Bicycle Club singer Jack Steadman says he travelled the world to get out of his routine for their new album.
The currently unnamed record is the follow-up to 2011's A Different Kind Of Fix and will be released on 3 February.
On Monday night the band unveiled the first single from the album, Carry Me, on Radio 1.
Speaking on Zane Lowe's show Steadman said: "We are very excited. This has been a long time coming."
He added: "We wanted to take the right amount of time on it, which is something we perhaps haven't done with our previous records."
Steadman spent three weeks in India writing some of the album where he was "sampling loads of old Bollywood" to get inspiration.
He also spent time in Turkey writing for the album, which he says "was very surreal."
"I was in the middle of nowhere staying with this family and they took me over as their son."
When asked if there was a planned schedule to his time away Jack said: "It was just trying to go somewhere where you get out of your routine.
"I felt more energetic when I was travelling. I felt more happy as well. That helps you write better songs I think."
The indie rock four-piece formed in 2006.
The new album, which is Bombay Bicycle Club's fourth in five years, was produced by Steadman.
Guitarist Jamie MacColl said: "I think doing it ourselves, we live and die by it.
"We can't blame anyone else if it doesn't connect with people. Most importantly I think we all think it's our best record."
MacColl added that, although the album doesn't have and official name yet, they've had some "stupid" working titles.
He also described the ten-track album as the "most streamlined album" the band has done.
He said: "There were more songs that could have gone on it that would have been good enough in the past but we wanted to cut out anything that could have been considered as filler."
Bombay Bicycle Club's latest single is Carry Me out now.
