Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are officially divorced

Hollywood stars Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have now become officially divorced after eight years of marriage.

A judge in Los Angeles finalised the decision on Tuesday morning after the pair signed legal papers last month.

The 35-year-actor filed for a divorce from Moore, 51, in December 2012.

The two separated in 2011 and had to agree on how to divide their $300m (£183m) fortune. They were married on 24 September 2005 in a private ceremony at a Kabbalah Centre.

The wedding was attended by around 150 close friends and family, including Bruce Willis, Demi Moore's ex-husband.

During their marriage they started a foundation to combat sexual exploitation of girls around the globe.

Demi Moore appears in upcoming film Very Good Girls and starred in 2011's Margin Call.

Since 2011 Ashton Kutcher has starred in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, playing Walden Schmidt.

He has also had leading roles in films like Dude, Where's My Car? and What Happens in Vegas and appeared in a sitcom called That '70s Show between 1998 and 2006.

The actor has been dating Hollywood star Mila Kunis since April 2012.

Demi Moore has three daughters with her first husband Bruce Willis.
