Paolo Nutini is the second act to be announced for this year's T in The Park festival.
The Scottish singer songwriter joins Arctic Monkeys who were confirmed as headliners in November.
The three-day festival at Balado Park, Kinross, takes place between 11-13 July 2014.
Further additions to the line-up will be announced 25 February ahead of tickets going on sale on Friday (28 February).
Paolo Nutini is gearing up to release his third studio album called Caustic Love in April.
It is his first new material since his number one album Sunny Side Up in 2009.
He is also one of the first acts announced for Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow in May.
Last year T in The Park festival celebrated its 20th anniversary with The Killers, Rihanna and Mumford & Sons topping the bill.
Festival director Geoff Ellis decided to ask the audience who they wanted to headline this year and Arctic Monkeys came out on top.
"When they take to the stage in Glasgow this week they'll prove exactly why they're one of the greatest live acts around," he said.
"I'm sure we can look forward to another phenomenal set at T in the Park."
Arctic Monkeys' fifth album, AM, went to number one earlier this year and won Album of The Year at The Brits last week.
