Avicii and Calvin Harris to headline Creamfields 2014
- Published
Creamfields has revealed Avicii, Calvin Harris and Tiesto will all be on the line-up later this year.
The music festival also confirmed Steve Angello, Deadmau5 and Alesso will all be on the bill.
The event, takes place on the last weekend in August, will return to Daresbury in Cheshire and showcase some of the world's biggest dance acts.
In 2013 it was voted the UK's number one dance festival at the Festival Awards.
Other names on the line-up include Martin Garrix, who had a number one with Animals, producer Afrojack and DJ Fatboy Slim.
Organisers have so far revealed details of the Saturday and Sunday performers, with Friday's sets still to be confirmed.
BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra DJs are also due to appear, with Zane Lowe, Mistajam and Annie Mac all featured.
Avicii, the Swedish DJ and producer, has had a sell-out tour and had a worldwide chart hit with Wake Me Up, which also became the second most streamed song on Spotify in 2013.
Fatboy Slim is returning to Creamfields after a five-year break from the event.
Joining Tiesto on Sunday's South Stage is DJ Hardwell, for his second performance of the weekend.
He will be performing exclusively for Creamfields this year and was crowned the world's number one DJ in the 2013 DJ Mag Top 100 poll.
Last year organisers spent £500,000 improving the festival site after flooding forced it to close early in 2012.
By the Sunday morning heavy rain had made much of the site unusable.
Day ticket holders were advised not to travel to the event while police were called in to help move people off the site.
Tickets for this year's festival, which takes place from 22 to 24 August, are on sale now.
