James Arthur has described his promotion team as "embarrassing" on Twitter.
Talking about plugs from HQ (Head Quarters) about new single Get Down he tweeted: "HQ please stop writing things like 'we think you would #LOVE This and that' or 'everybody #GETDOWN and buy this..' It's embarrassing."
He added: "Stick to promoting Paul Potts please. Thanks. #LOVE."
The singer then suggested, external that "an actual fan" should control the account.
Potts responded to Arthur's tweets and added: "Their [the promotion team] wages come out of your budget and there will come a time when you need them more than they need you."
The tweets are the latest in a string of outbursts from the X Factor winner, who recently said other male winners on the ITV talent show are not "believable" and look and sound "like puppets".
He also said he was not "in love" with his single You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You and felt his debut album had too many outside influences.
Last year the 26-year-old became involved in a Twitter row, after he was accused of using homophobic lyrics by celebrities including Matt Lucas and Frankie Boyle.
He later apologised for the slur.
Since winning The X Factor in 2012, Arthur has had a number one with his winner's single Impossible and headlined a European tour.
Following the criticism of his promotion team, the singer announced a new hip-hop mixtape called All The Worlds A Stage.
He then asked to have Tilikum, an orca which is the subject of an anti-SeaWorld documentary, to be on the cover of the upcoming release and asked fans, external to design the front cover.
He said he wants, external it to include a killer whale "attacking a crowd of people".
The singer also promised to meet the winning artist and the mixtape will include fourteen tracks of him "singing, rapping and producing".
