Battersea Dogs and Cats Home takes in fattest ever cat

A cat called Titan has been named the fattest on record by a leading animal shelter.
The nine-year-old, who's being looked after at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, weighs just over 1 stone 8lbs (10kg), which is twice his recommended size.
The shelter says he is now being put through "bootcamp" including a special diet and exercise through play.
"Titan's been living up to his name and enjoying the fat-cat lifestyle," said SuiLi Weight from the charity.
"His new found title is not one to be proud of.
"His hefty weight, though comical to some, is a real health problem and may put off potential owners who will have to work to help continue his weight loss."
Battersea says it has taken in 16 overweight cats in the last year.
Others include Zhu Zhu, who weighed 1 stone 5lbs (8.5kg) and Gizmo, who arrived weighing 1 stone 6lbs (9kg).
SuiLi Weight added: "It can be down to over-feeding and under-exercising from owners who may not be aware they are doing anything wrong.
"The quality of life for these fat felines is very poor as they can struggle to play and even move as a normal cat would.
"We would advise any concerned owners to take their cat to the vet to check their size and to speak to them about the recommended healthy weight for their cat."
