Pixie Lott is the 11th celebrity to be named for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The singer appeared at V Festival this month and her first two singles Mama Do and Boys and Girls went to number one.
"I'm so excited to be doing Strictly, it's going to be fun," she said. "I always want to push myself, so can't wait to learn the routines."
The 23-year-old's debut sold more than 1.5 million copies and she released her self-titled third album in July.
Her 2011 single All About Tonight also made it to the top of the Official Singles Chart.
As a young actress she appeared in the West End production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium and as Louisa von Trapp in BBC One's Celebrate The Sound Of Music, before turning to music.
Lott joins Frankie Bridge, Judy Murray, Alison Hammond, Thom Evans, Simon Webbe, Mark Wright, Sunetra Sarker, Jake Wood, Steve Backshall and Radio 1's Scott Mills in this year's series.
Four more celebrities are yet to be confirmed.
The new series will be the first one without long-term host Sir Bruce Forsyth, with Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman sharing the presenting job.
The launch show for this year's Strictly Come Dancing is on Sunday, 7 September at 8pm on BBC One.
