McBusted say Duke and Duchess of Cambridge 'will be fans'

McBusted are hoping to impress the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the annual Royal Variety Performance.
"We want them to like us," said Danny Jones who admitted he "messed up" the previous times he'd performed in front of royalty.
Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding and Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro are also on the bill.
Speaking at the dress rehearsal, James Bourne told Newsbeat he was nervous.
"I've definitely seen too many medieval royal things where an entertainer comes and performs in front of the king, and if he doesn't like them... off with their heads."
The band will meet William and Kate after the show, although they're still not clear on the correct etiquette.
"The last time we performed there was lots of debate about whether we said ma'am (as in farm) or ma'am (as in ham)," said Harry Judd.
"It would be cool if there was some kind of royal verdict at the end of each performance. So William stands up in the box like an X Factor judge putting his thumb up or down like a gladiator."
"Or numbers....like Strictly. SEVEN," said Danny.
Harry's been judged by royalty before, when the Duchess of Cornwall visited the Strictly set.
"She came and watched the Strictly soundcheck and they got me and Alex Jones to dance. It was terrifying."
The band reckon Prince William and Catherine "will be fans" by the end of the night.
"I've heard they've already got tickets for our tour, they've pre-ordered our album and they follow us on Twitter."
Russell Kane, Michael McIntyre and Jack Whitehall are among the comedians also performing at the Palladium.
The event will be shown on ITV1 in early December.
