James Blunt's best ever (non-sweary) Twitter comebacks
- Published
For so long, it wasn't exactly cool to admit to being a James Blunt fan.
But slowly and surely, he started to gain a cult following as more and more people discovered his Twitter feed - and his ability to put down the haters.
Now the singer, who served in the army and went to boarding school, has got into a public row with Labour MP Chris Bryant over "privilege" in the arts.
In an open letter, he has called the politician a "prejudiced wazzock" for saying his "ilk" dominated the arts.
With this insult in mind, let's take a look at some of Blunt's other comebacks.
He's not afraid to take a stance on controversial political campaigns
He gives credit where credit's due
Even when it would be easy to just accept the compliment
He's handy to have around in a medical emergency
And prioritises health fitness over fun and frivolity
Although modesty may not be his strong suit...
...He certainly knows how to find the silver lining
And he's never, ever afraid to just say it like it is
