Daniel Bryan gives up WWE title over health reasons

Daniel Bryan says he is giving up his WWE Intercontinental Championship title because of poor health.
He told fans at Monday night Raw that he had an MRI scan last week and was stepping back from wrestling for the foreseeable future.
"They don't know how long I'll be out. They said maybe weeks, maybe months. They said I might never be able to wrestle again," he said.
"You deserve to have WWE Superstars fighting for this championship."
Bryan has been trending online ever since he revealed the news.
"The Intercontinental Championship should not be sitting on a physical therapists chair. It deserves to be in this ring and in this ring is where I am going to leave it," he told crowds.
"Tonight I officially relinquish my Intercontinental Championship."
When Bryan took the title at WrestleMania 31 in March, the event broke the attendance record at Levi's Stadium in California, with 76,976 fans from all 50 US states and 40 countries.
Bryan placed his belt in the ring, as the audience chanted and cheered for him.
"You guys have got it all wrong," he said to the fans. "For everything you have done for me, I just have one thing left to say - thank you."
It is almost a year to the day since Bryan had surgery on his neck, which also lost him a title.
WWE also announced the return of the Elimination Chamber as a pay-per-view event on the WWE Network.
It will be here that the WWE Tag Team Championships and the now vacant Intercontinental Championship will be defended.
