Chris Hemsworth to join Ghostbusters reboot as receptionist

The director of the new Ghostbusters reboot has announced Chris Hemsworth is to play a receptionist in the film.
Paul Feig tweeted a photo of the actor saying: "Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall."
He'll be joining the mainly female-led cast of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Cecily Strong and Kate McKinnon.
The film's a remake of the 1984 classic about a ghost removal service, but this time the ghostbusters are women.

It originally starred Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver.
The gender swapping continues with Hemsworth's casting.
In the original film, the receptionist, Janine Melnitz, was played by actress, Annie Potts.
Variety magazine, external reports that the film studio went to Hemsworth early in the process for a major male role, but he turned it down because it was too small.
Sony reworked the script so the part was beefed up.
Production on Ghostbusters is set to start later this summer for release in July 2016.
