Get Rich Or Die Tryin': 50 Cent files for bankruptcy in US court

50 Cent has filed for bankruptcy in the US.
A clerk at a Connecticut court told Newsbeat the rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, had made the request.
Papers filed in court, external reported his debts were in the range of $10m (£6m) to $50m (£32m), about the same as his reported assets.
Earlier this year, Forbes magazine declared, external 50 Cent the fourth richest hip-hop star, worth $155 (£100m).
Newsbeat's asked 50 Cent's representative for a comment about the bankruptcy.
Over the years, the rapper has had many side business projects away from his music.
He's been involved in boxing promotion, selling vitamin-enhanced water, film-making, acting and entered the headphones market.
Last week, a court ordered him to pay $5m (£3.2m) to a woman who said he'd posted a sex tape of her without permission.
The video of Lastonia Leviston and her boyfriend was put online in 2009. 50 Cent is said to have added a voiceover making explicit remarks about the woman.
She has a daughter with rapper Rick Ross who had a rivalry with 50 Cent. The two men traded insults in their lyrics and during interviews.
50 Cent says he didn't actually post the video, but that he had been told that Leviston wouldn't mind if he did.
Leviston said she was horrified and humiliated when it went online.
