CBB's Stephanie Davis denies being axed from Hollyoaks

Stephanie Davis played Sinead O'Connor on Hollyoaks for five years before her sudden exit from the soap.
There were reports of lateness and unprofessionalism but the actress now claims she was never sacked from the show.
"I walked out. It was my choice to leave," Davis tells Newsbeat before going into the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Hollyoaks insists the actress was axed.
At the time, a spokesperson for the soap said: "Stephanie Davis will no longer be filming Hollyoaks. Her contract has been terminated with immediate effect." Davis disagrees with that.
"I walked out and they tried to get me back several times, and I said no," she says.
"I left because I had enough and I was just ready to move on, I'd been there since I was 16 and that was kind of it. I'm sad at the way it ended."
The actress says she's hoping Celebrity Big Brother will change the public perception that she's a "bad girl".
"Everyone thinks I'm naughty and I'm not. I'm the complete opposite, I'm an absolute geek, I'm a wimp and I like to laugh."
During her time on Hollyoaks, Davis was nominated for best actress and best dramatic performance at the 2012 British Soap Awards.
"I've not got a bad thing to say about Hollyoaks. I had a great experience. It's been a rollercoaster and I was in it from a young age but now I'm happy and content and feel like I've found me again."
We asked Davis why it's taken six months for her to tell her side of the story and she says that "speaking up adds fuel to the fire".
She insists that she's the "most professional person you could ever meet".
Responding to Davis's claims, Hollyoaks is sticking by its original statement.
