Brit hosts Ant & Dec reveal 'capes are banned, one flamethrower per table'

After Madonna's fall during her performance at the Brit Awards 2016, hosts Ant & Dec are laying down the law when it comes to health and safety.
"It's going to be old school award ceremony performances," says Ant with a smile.
"Lots of smoke, lots of fire, it's a health and safety disaster.
"But we've cut down and there are no capes, the capes are strictly banned," adds Dec.

Last year, Madonna famously got caught up in her cape and fell backwards down steps from the stage.
"All stairs have been looked at, nobody should be pulled backwards. Only one flamethrower per table."
They are, of course, joking.
The pair are pretty excited ahead of the biggest night in the British music industry and it's also the last time they will be hosting the show.
"We had a great time last year, we were only going to do it one year," explains Dec.
"Then they went 'oh we've got Coldplay and we've got Adele and we've got Rihanna' and we're like 'alright we'll do it one more time'."
"I went 'I'm still holding out' and then they went 'we've got Justin Bieber' and then I said 'ok I am in guys.'"
This really is their final year, the pair say they are just too busy to do it again next year.
"It is a really busy time of year for us, we are doing Britain's Got Talent auditions and we are doing (Saturday Night) Takeaway." explains Ant.
"When you are hosting [the Brits] you have got to commit to it, there's a lot of script writing leading up to it, then there is rehearsal time and you want to do it right.
"So we've had one great year and hopefully another good year and hopefully we can end on a high."
Often, the bits in between the performances and awards themselves are the most fun with the duo preying on unsuspecting musicians.
This year will be no different and they have set their sights on a few famous faces.
"Yes [Justin] Bieber, I am going to be there," Ant says immediately.
"We think we are going to be best friends with Adele so we are looking forward to seeing her," grins Dec.
And as for whoever takes over as host next year, they have plenty of advice.
"Tuck your shirt into your pants, button up and get ready for action because it is great," laughs Dec.
"If things go wrong, just explain that they are going wrong to the viewer.
"We found that is easier. If you try and pretend otherwise you are just make a fool out of yourself."
