Tom Hiddleston: Me and Taylor Swift just got up and danced at the Met Gala

Tom Hiddleston says it was "cool" dancing with Taylor Swift at the Met Gala in New York.
Chatting on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw, he revealed how he came to dance with Taylor in a video that went viral.
"The Weeknd played a set after dinner as people were having pudding and coffee," he said.
"And Taylor turned to me and said, 'That's why these gigs are hard to play, because if you're a musician you want people to dance, but everyone is sitting around eating.'
"She said, 'If they play I Can't Feel My Face we have to get up and dance as an encore.'
"I said, 'I'm in, of course, let's go. Absolutely.'"
As the music kicked in, Tom kept his promise.
"We just jumped up and started dancing - and everybody else started dancing - which was great.
"And it was cool."
Asked why he thought the video was so popular, Tom replied: "Taylor is a huge star. Maybe it's just the randomness of it."
In his new film, I Saw the Light, Tom plays Hank Williams, one of America's greatest singers and songwriters.

"There was pressure," he told Nick Grimshaw. "But you need someone to make sure you get it right.
"Playing Hank and singing the songs, I realised that singers and people who write their own material, if you're a songwriter, it's the most vulnerable thing you could do - to put yourself out there, to wear your heart on your sleeve and put it into song.
"Only the very greatest artists can do that. John Lennon could do it, David Bowie could it and Beyonce is doing it now."
"She's writing about her life in the most incredible way.
"It's an amazing album. It's very powerful."
Grimmy also made Tom read out some maths equations. You can watch it here, external
