Facebook users report problems with Pages posts across the world

Facebook users are struggling to update Pages, the part of the site typically used by companies and organisations to share content.

It's not clear how many companies are affected, but there have been reports from all over the world about people having issues.

The problem has affected the Newsbeat Facebook page, for example, with some administrators unable to share updates.

Facebook has yet to respond to a request for a comment.

Elena Bertelli tweeted: "Keep calm and use Twitter #facebookdown"

Until the issue is resolved, your Facebook feed might look different from normal, with official accounts and news sites potentially limited in what they can post.

Individual personal profiles do not seem to be affected by the bug.

But when some users of official Pages try to post to their company's feed they are shown an error message which reads: "There was a problem updating your status. Please try again in a few minutes."

Sarmad Hashmi tweeted: "Unable to post on facebook pages, who else is experiencing this glitch?"
