Hillary Clinton has her squad sorted for her campaign to win the US election.

At the Democratic Party's convention in Philadelphia, Hillary became the first woman to be officially nominated for president by any major US party.

She had the likes of Lena Dunham, Chloe Moretz and America Ferrera there supporting her.

Hunger Games star Elizabeth Banks spoke at the convention and joked about Donald Trump in her speech.

"Some of you may know me from The Hunger Games, in which I play Effie Trinket, a cruel, out-of-touch reality TV star who wears insane wigs while living in a violent dystopia.

"When I went to Cleveland last week, I was like, 'Hey. That's my act.'"

The actress produced a version of Rachel Platten's Fight Song which featured actors and musicians singing their support for Hillary Clinton.

Ugly Betty's America Ferrera and Girls star Lena Dunham also took to the stage at the convention in support of Hillary.

America Ferrera spoke at the convention.

Lena told the crowd that Donald Trump's "rhetoric takes us back to a time when women were expected to be beautiful and silent".

Meryl Streep gave a speech too, asking the audience: "What does it take to be the first female anything?

"It takes grit and it takes grace."

Serena Williams posted this inspirational quote on Instagram.

Possibly the most powerful woman to back her is the current First Lady Michelle Obama.

Michelle told the Democratic convention that "because of the Democrats' candidate, my daughters and all our sons and daughters now take for granted that a woman can be president of the United States".

The Republican presidential candidate has some big female names behind him too.

No surprises that Sarah Palin is one of them.

The former governor of Alaska endorsed her fellow Republican in a speech in January saying that the "status quo has got to go".

Rapper Azealia Banks has tweeted her support for the Republican candidate lots of times.

In May she tweeted: "I REALLY want Donald Trump to win the election."
