Blake Lively says new mums shouldn't feel pressure to lose weight straight after having a baby.
She's been on Australian breakfast show Sunrise, external, where she was complimented on how great she looked in a bikini in her new film The Shallows.
The presenter commented on how the film was shot just months after Blake had her first baby.
But the 28-year-old called it unfair that slimming down after birth is "so celebrated".
"It's like, this is what someone looks like after having a baby," she said.
"I think a woman's body after having a baby is pretty amazing. You gave birth to a human being. I would really like to see that celebrated."
The ex-Gossip Girl star's now expecting her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds. Her first daughter James is now 19 months old.
Her latest film, The Shallows, is about a woman attacked by a shark after travelling to a secluded beach. She says she got ready for the role through endurance training.
But she says her main aim was physically preparing for the part which she called "as much a physical challenge as an acting challenge".
She spoke to Newsbeat about the pressure to lose weight after giving birth to James, saying "who cares?"
Earlier this week, Anne Hathaway also embraced her post-baby body and encouraged others to do the same.
The actress, who gave birth to a boy in April, shared an inspirational message on Instagram.

"There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever),"she said.
"There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all)."
She's previously spoken about being bodyshamed at the gym after work and going home crying.
In the past, Victoria's Secret models like Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima have made quick returns to the catwalk after having babies.
Heidi Klum was back in action five weeks after giving birth to her fourth child.
But Blake wants to change the focus away from how new mums look.
"You don't need to be Victoria's Secret ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer," she said.
