Instagram star Christopher Serrano dies 'subway surfing' in New York

An Instagram star, known for photographing extreme views of the New York City skyline, has died while "subway surfing", according to police.
Christopher Serrano, 25, was between two train carriages and trying to climb on top when he was clipped and fell.
He died on the tracks, say officials in New York.
It's thought it was around 5am and that he was travelling with two female friends when the accident happened, the New York Post, external is reporting.
He recently posted this photo looking down at the city., external
"I'm at a loss for words, I just want to talk to you again, and to hear you laugh at me about how I'm being jealous over everything," his girlfriend Vicky Steel wrote on her Facebook page.
"We had so many plans together Chris, why did this have to happen?
"I am beyond destroyed. I lost the love of my life, nothing will ever be the same again. Absolutely nothing...."
Fans have been paying tribute to the photographer on his Instagram page, where he went by the name Heavy Minds.
His most recent photograph showed feet dangling from a building, high above the ground, captioned: "It's lonely up here."
