Chance the Rapper has sent out a prayer to his "big brother" Kanye West.

During his performance of the track All We Got in the BBC 1Xtra live lounge, the artist extended a message to his collaborator and mentor.

The album version of the song features Yeezy.

Kanye West has been admitted to hospital in LA following a call to the emergency services, according to US media reports.

Apparently reacting to the news, Chance the Rapper said during his song: "I want to extend a very special prayer to my big brother Kanye West.

"I know there's a lot of weird folks out there, but you already know I'm a hundred grand."

He continued by saying: "And I want to do is just extend this prayer and extend this love from all the way in Britain - we might come back early to come see this man.

"Happy Thanksgiving."

Chance the Rapper has four more dates on his sold-out UK and Ireland tour, due to end in Manchester on Saturday.

All We Got was the first track on his mixtape, Coloring Book, which was met with critical acclaim earlier this year.

Talking to Trevor Nelson after the performance, Chance expanded on his shout out to fellow Chicago rapper West.

"Kanye West has been helpful not just in an influential way but since I first met him he's done nothing more than try and incubate and help our projects grow," he said.

"Just conversations that we've had, favours that he's done for me, places that he's popped up, people that he's called for me - I will never forget it and never take it for granted."

Talking about the reported difficulties Kanye is facing, he said: "I think everybody goes through it, and I think right now what he needs more than anything is his close real friends and family around."

Chance the Rapper performed two songs on Trevor Nelson's BBC 1Xtra show on Tuesday, including a cover of Drake's Feel No Ways.
