Tom Hardy to read CBeebies bedtime story
- Published
Tom Hardy is going to read the bedtime story on CBeebies this New Year's Eve.
The dad-of-two is best known for tough-guy film roles such as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and the Kray twins in Legend.
But now children across the country will be able to hear him read You Must Bring a Hat by Simon Philip and Kate Hindley.
The story, aimed at children aged two and over, tells the tale of a little boy who is going to a party.
Tom, who was joined by his dog Woodstock for the filming, will appear on more CBeebies Bedtime Stories in 2017.
A range of celebrities have been involved in the series, with actor Damian Lewis, astronaut Tim Peake and Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain all reading stories.
The stories over Christmas and New Year will also feature performances from Isla Fisher, Maureen Lipman, Justin Fletcher, Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes.
CBeebies Bedtime Stories is on the CBeebies channel every evening at 6.50pm.
