A US police department's taken down an "inappropriate" tweet reacting to the news Beyonce's expecting twins.

Officers in Atlanta posted that Beyonce "may have everyone wanting to celebrate" but warning people not to use "celebratory gunfire".

Some accused the department of making fun of racial stereotypes and gun violence. Others thought it was just plain weird.

The tweet was deleted soon after, with an apology calling it "inappropriate".
