Potter fans, please stop discussing my death - JK Rowling
- Published
JK Rowling is not dead but that hasn't stopped people discussing how they will celebrate her life when that sad day actually comes.
And the Harry Potter author is not overjoyed at the online chatter.
She tweeted a meme which she says is "sweet" but adds that she'd rather be left out of this particular conversation.
It describes how fans will take to the streets to pay tribute to her work.
"I won't be offended if you untag me when making plans for my death," she wrote as she shared the image on Twitter.

In fact she commented, sarcastically, on the topic twice.
"Yes, let's talk more about when I die. It's cheering me right up," she posted., external
Of course, JK Rowling being an absolute boss on social media is nothing new.
She has been tackling haters, sharing powerful political views and speaking with a voice of tolerance and equality on Twitter for years.
Here are 12 of her finest tweets, that shut down every troll...
1. JK takes no prisoners when it comes to Twitter abuse - and even referenced how much cash she'd earned from trolls.
2. And she has to put up with some seriously unpleasant comments.
3. Seriously, do not come for her.
4. She takes the worst insults and owns them.
5. JK doesn't hold back with her political views.
6. She has made her feelings known on Theresa May's relationship with the US and Donald Trump.
7. She has no time for racism, especially when it came to casting a black actress as Hermione Granger on the London stage.
8. She uses biblical quotes to shame politicians who claim their controversial policies are based in religion.
9. And sometimes, she'll shut down critics with hip hop lyrics.
10. But she's not just on Twitter to defend herself - she stood up for Madonna when she fell at the 2015 Brit Awards.
11. JK is not afraid to let people see her own failings and she shared rejection letters she got for the Harry Potter books.
12. She even made a reference to having seen Daniel Radcliffe's penis when he starred in Equus.

One more interesting part of JK Rowling's social media strategy is her use of screengrabs: denying trolls the attention they crave.
