Rap mogul Suge Knight ordered to stand trial on murder charges in January 2018

Rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight has been ordered to stand trial next year on murder charges.
They relate to a fatal hit-and-run at a Los Angeles burger stand more than two years ago.
A judge set the trial date for Suge Knight, the co-founder of hip-hop label Death Row Records, during a hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court.
The 51-year-old was ordered to return to court on 18 May for pre-trial proceedings.
The rap producer is accused of running two men down with his Ford F-150 pick-up truck outside Tam's Burgers in the LA suburb of Compton on 29 January 2015.
The alleged incident was captured on videotape by the restaurant's surveillance cameras.
Terry Carter, 55, was hit and killed by the truck. Cle "Bone" Sloan survived his injuries.
Suge Knight is charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of felony hit-and-run and could face 25 years to life in prison if he's found guilty.
