Usher skips One Love Manchester performance, to support diabetic son

Usher has revealed why he didn't perform at One Love Manchester, saying he had a commitment to be with his diabetic son.
His name had appeared in promotion for the concert and fans were confused when he didn't turn up.
Now he's explained he was with his son on his first day of summer camp.
"So happy to see that last nights concert in Manchester proved that love always prevails," he said in an Instagram post.
There were a few surprises at the benefit concert, like an unexpected tribute from Liam Gallagher and a moving performance of Somewhere Over the Rainbow from Ariana Grande.
Although he didn't initally explain his absence, Usher did dedicate a video message to Manchester in the run up to the gig.

"My heart is with you Manchester. I'm so sorry for all of your loss and the pain that you've gone through," he said.
He also encouraged his fans to tune into the live stream of the event - both sharing various links to where they could watch.
The 38-year-old had been announced on the bill alongside names such as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and The Black Eye Peas.
But the three-hour event went off without a hitch and without a performance from Usher.
So naturally, fans took to Twitter to speculate.
