Donald Trump v women: The evidence from the US president's own Twitter account

The president of the United States has been called out again for his objectification of women.

Donald Trump's latest targets are the hosts of Morning Joe, an American chat show on MSNBC.

It comes in the same week as he was caught on camera flirting with a TV reporter at the White House.

But an out of control tweet or a comment about women isn't unusual for the 45th male resident of the White House.

Here's a reminder of five of his most infamous rants about women from his own Twitter account.

American TV hosts are the latest target

Here was the first tweet where he said Mika is crazy and Joe a psycho.

Here is the second tweet where he accuses Mika of having a face-lift and 'bleeding badly from it'.

Donald Trump also called the TV show fake news.

Joe Scarborough said Donald Trump was lying again.

They've responded with a blog on the Washington Post saying Donald Trump has a never-ending obsession with women's blood and that Mika has never had a face-lift.

"More significant is Mr. Trump's continued mistreatment of women. It is disturbing that the president of the United States keeps up his unrelenting assault on women.

"From his menstruation musings about Megyn Kelly, to his fat-shaming treatment of a former Miss Universe, to his braggadocio claims about grabbing women's genitalia, the 45th president is setting the poorest of standards for our children."

The Irish reporter at the White House

Earlier in the week Donald Trump was filmed flirting with an Irish TV reporter during a diplomatic phone call.

The subject of the call was Caitriona Perry, the Washington correspondent for RTE, who described the moment as "bizarre".

The US president had a feud with NBC News anchor Megyn Kelly, who was questioning him during a television debate.

He tweeted that "she had blood coming out of her wherever".

The model who was 'no longer a 10'

Remember back in 2015 when the US president called supermodel Heidi Klum fat?

In an interview with the New York Times, Donald Trump said: "Heidi Klum. Sadly, she's no longer a 10."

But she responded by posting a video on Twitter wearing a T-shirt with 10 on the front.

The locker room banter that went too far

Who could forget the video that emerged during the US presidential election campaign of what Donald Trump described as locker room banter?

He was overheard discussing "grabbing women by the [genitals]", and said it was OK because "when you're a star, they let you do it".

Cher, an advocate for women's rights, has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump, even saying she'd rather eat glass than support him.
