Little Mix and Rihanna... the superstars Raye is writing for
- Published
Raye hasn't released an album yet but she's already writing for some massive pop stars.
The 19-year-old, who performed at V Festival at the weekend, has written lyrics for Rihanna and Little Mix.
"Roc Nation reached out to me after hearing some songs I'd written for other people that haven't been released and really liked it.
"They said my writing was quite young and fresh and wanted to get me involved."

Despite writing for such big names, Raye told Newsbeat that she tries not to feel the pressure.
"It's really fun and I think it is really easy to over think it. 'Oh, what does Rihanna want to sing?'
"Honestly I think the best way to do it is to catch a vibe and not over think it."
"You are in a different headspace when you are writing for someone else because you are writing for that person and that person's story is so, so different.
"When you are trying to open up and pour your heart out with someone else, you are like being a friend and helping out."
As well as writing for Rihanna, Raye says she's been working with Ellie Goulding.
"She is amazing and I love her."
But Raye says it can be difficult writing with people she doesn't normally work with.
"Everyone is really desperate to get a cut," she says.
"It's a nice agreement, but if they don't want the songs, I can have them for my own artist project.
"I think it is healthy to do both, because if you are only writing for yourself I just over think it.
"Writing for other people is just fun, it's fun."

Raye's also been involved in writing songs for Little Mix's next album.
"Those girls are incredible and we've got some songs I really like, so fingers crossed."
There's still no release date for Raye's debut album but it's expected to be out later this year.
