Stranger Things gives Netflix its biggest streaming day of 2017

The return of Stranger Things gave Netflix its most popular streaming day in the UK this year on 29 October.

The second series of the sci-fi drama returned two days earlier and was also the most popular show to binge in the first 24 hours of release.

But one UK subscriber clearly couldn't get enough of a 2007 cartoon film, according to Netflix.

It's revealed that one member watched the Bee Movie a whopping 357 times in 2017.

Orange Is The New Black was the show most likely to make viewers watch episodes ahead of their partner, Neflix says.

While Greenleaf, a series about a family and their megachurch in Memphis, was the most "devoured" show in the UK this year.

The term refers to shows watched for more than two hours per day.

The streaming service also revealed Stranger Things, Narcos, 13 Reasons Why and Star Trek: Discovery were shows many people "cheated" on their viewing partner with.
