The biggest sporting failures

The FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, was once called a "factory of sadness".
It proved to be that way for fans of the Cleveland Browns who saw their team lose every game there this season.
In fact, the Browns became the third team in NFL history to lose every single match. They played 16. They lost 16.
Under coach Hue Jackson, they've won one match during his two year reign but he looks likely to keep his job.
It's not all bad news for Cleveland though. With the terrible season comes opportunity.
They'll hope to turn the franchise around with the first pick of American football's brightest young stars at the NFL draft in April.
However they did have the top pick last year too.
They join an illustrious (well "notorious" is probably a better word) list of lovable losers.
Leicestershire County Cricket Club
992 days. That was the length of time between wins for Leicestershire.
From 2012 to 2015, the team went 37 games without a win - over two-and-a-half seasons.
It was the longest drought in first class cricket since before World War II but it was ended with a six wicket win over Essex.
Mersey Tigers
In 2013, the Tigers were the first team and still the only team to not win a game in the British Basketball League.
That season, they were also knocked out of two cup competitions to take their record for the year to 0-35.
Prairie View A&M University
Between 1989 and 1998, the university in Texas lost all 80 of their American football matches. They had their winning record in 2007.
Derby County
Back in the 2007/08 season the Premier League had never seen a team like the Rams' squad that ended up being relegated by March that year.
They won just one of their 38 games scoring 20 goals the whole season. In case you were wondering they beat Newcastle, external for their solitary victory.
Derby finished with 11 points, averaging 0.29 points per game and it was the lowest points total in Premier League history.
Although it was a pretty bad season for Derby, they aren't worst team in UK football history. In fact, they're not even the worst team in Derbyshire football history
That honour goes to...
New Mills
Who are based 46 miles away from Pride Park. In 2016 they played 35, lost 33, drew two, scored 21 and conceded 136.
They were dubbed, "the worst team in England".
Playing in the 8th tier of English football, the Northern Premier League Division One North, they sealed their relegation, by losing 9-0 to rival team Spennymoor.
Andorra
But neither Derby nor New Mills can rival Andorra.
The country, which has one of the smallest populations in Europe, usually puts out a team of semi-professional footballers whose jobs range from teachers to mechanics. For 11 years, they lost 58 straight competitive matches.
However a 0-0 draw with fellow minnows Faroe Islands halted the run and a few months later in June 2017, they picked up their second competitive win in 13 years beating Hungary 1-0.
