Gujarat Assembly Election Results: BJP Wins

With a total of 182 constituencies, Gujarat witnessed 68 percent voter turnout in its first phase of polls, 2.7 percent lesser than the turnout in 2012 assembly elections. In the second phase of polls, the voter turnout at 14 districts with 851 candidates in fray finally settled at 68.7 percent, 2.6 percent lesser than 2012. As the final polling ended on 14th December, the winner was announced on 18th December.
