Brian May: 'Badgers have been the scapegoat for years'

The first licence allowing farmers in England to shoot badgers in an attempt to reduce tuberculosis in cattle has been issued.

Queen guitarist Brian May has been campaigning on this issue for some time, founding Team Badger, a coalition of animal welfare organisations hoping to persuade the Government to change its stance.

He and Adam Quinney, the vice president of the National Farmers' Union, debated the matter on BBC Breakfast.
