Gentoo penguins find warm success

Gentoo penguins appear to be thriving in the warmer conditions in the Antarctic Peninsula.

Unlike their Pygoscelis, or "bush-tailed", cousins, the adélie and chinstrap penguins - the gentoos are not so dependent on an icy ecosystem.

Dr Claire Waluda, a marine ecologist from the British Antarctic Survey, spoke with our science correspondent Jonathan Amos.
