‘Like having a very smart friend’: Musk on impact of AI
Billionaire Elon Musk told the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak that he thinks AI could take over service sector jobs and play a role in education.
Speaking at a highly regulated event, where journalists were not allowed to ask questions, TV cameras were not allowed inside and Downing Street instead released their own footage, the billionaire Tesla and X owner said that while he believes AI still faces "a little bit of a problem" where it could generate "confidently wrong" answers, he could envision a future where it could become a kind of tutor for students.
