Prior to their wedding signs of affection between Prince William and Catherine Middleton were rarely seen in public. Now that they are married, such caution has been dropped.

Hugo Burnand, the official royal wedding photographer, holds up one of his pictures of the newly married couple. Mr Burnand, a portrait and society photographer, also photographed the marriage of the Prince of Wales to Camilla Parker-Bowles in 2005.
