England's week of riots

David Cameron has promised a review of government policy following the England riots last week - that saw violence and unrest in London and other major towns and cities.

About 3,100 people so far have been arrested, of whom over 1,100 have been through the courts for offences ranging from burglary and arson, to violence and disorder.

Here, take a look back at the sights and sounds from the streets - including from people who shared their pictures and stories with the BBC as events unfolded.
