Eye gouging victim Tina Nash 'brave and fantastic'
One of the police officers who worked on the case of Tina Nash, who was blinded when her boyfriend gouged her eyes, has spoken of Ms Nash's bravery and "positive outlook".
Shane Jenkins kept Ms Nash imprisoned in her house for 12 hours after the assault, in which she was severely beaten with serious facial injuries.
Det Insp Chris Strickland of Devon and Cornwall Police said Ms Nash was "an inspiration... all the officers on the case have remarked about how brave and fantastic she's been."
