Shelley Rudman, Olympic silver medallist in skeleton in Turin 2006, and her partner Kristan Bromley, World Cup bobsleigh skeleton winner 2004 and 2008, sent this image of their daughter, Ella, in her cape.

"We were just off Bolt Tail about one mile from Salcombe harbour where we are stationed," said Cameron Sims-Sterling, who sent in this picture of Sam Viles and Matt Davies. "We were on a usual exercise dressed in our dry suits and waiting to exercise with the Y boat, which is inside the Tamar-class lifeboat."

This scarecrow picture, sent in by Lauren Cordelle, was taken at Walsall Road Allotments in Perry Barr, Birmingham, in July. "My mum and dad, Kay and Paul Cordelle, made the scarecrow for the yearly scarecrow competition, after hearing he'd be training in Birmingham," she said.
