Taxpayers' Alliance: 'Needs to be serious cuts in spending'

The Taxpayers' Alliance say spending cuts are needed to ensure public finances remain stable for the future.

The organisation was speaking out as thousands of people march through London in protest at the government's austerity measures.

Demonstrators want the coalition to end public service cuts and instead create policies they say can create growth.

Matthew Sinclair, chief executive of the Taxpayers' Alliance, said there "needs to be serious cuts in public spending".
